Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using the website and any platform managed by BLU Software (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (“BLU”). It applies to client managers, staff users and any end customer of a Client's loyalty platform.

1. Prohibited Activities

You must not use BLU's website or any platform to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another Client's platform, account or data.
  • Interfere with, disrupt or overburden BLU's infrastructure or another user's use of the platform.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
  • Use the platform to distribute unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or abusive content.
  • Circumvent or manipulate the loyalty, reward or QR redemption systems for fraudulent gain.
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security.

2. Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and must not share account access with unauthorised individuals.

3. Fair Use of Rewards

Reward and loyalty features are provided for genuine customer engagement. Any attempt to manipulate point accumulation, exploit system errors, or redeem rewards fraudulently may result in suspension of the associated account.

4. Client Responsibility for End Customers

Clients are responsible for ensuring their staff and communications to end customers comply with this Policy and applicable law, including obtaining necessary consents for marketing communications sent through the platform.

5. Enforcement

BLU may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and may suspend or terminate access to the platform where a violation is confirmed, without limiting any other remedies available to BLU.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
